Is There a Page Limit on Squarespace?

As a general rule, we recommend keeping your pages around 500kb in total. This is including all the page’s resources like images, videos, and GIFs.

When a page is loading, the browser needs to download all of its resources before displaying anything to the reader. So, the larger the page, the longer it will take to load. If you have a lot of content on a page, we recommend paginating it into smaller sections.

On Squarespace, there is no page limit per say, but we do have guidelines in place to help keep your pages loading quickly. For example, we recommend using no more than 20mb per page for image and video resources combined.

You can check how big your pages are by going to Site Manager > Analytics > Page Load Speed. From here, you can see how long each page on your site takes to load.

PRO TIP: There is no page limit on Squarespace, but there is a limit to the number of pages that can be indexed by search engines. If you have a large website with many pages, it’s important to structure your site so that search engines can easily index your content.

If you find that your pages are loading slowly, there are a few things you can do to speed things up. First, try reducing the number of resources on the page.

This means fewer images, videos, and GIFs. You can also try compressing your images to make them smaller in file size without losing quality. Finally, you can paginate your content into smaller sections so that the browser doesn’t have to download everything at once.

By following these guidelines, you can help ensure that your pages load quickly and efficiently for your readers.

Conclusion: Is There a Page Limit on Squarespace?
No, there is no page limit on Squarespace but it is recommended to keep pages around 500kb for quick loading times.
