Can You Import Figma to Axure?

If you’re a web designer, you’re probably familiar with Figma. Figma is a vector drawing and animation software that’s used by designers to create high-quality graphics for the web.

But what if you want to use Figma to create wireframes for your website? Can you import Figma to Axure?

The short answer is: yes, you can import Figma to Axure. However, there are a few things to keep in mind before you do so.

PRO TIP: There is no official way to import Figma files into Axure. However, there are some unofficial methods that have been developed by the community. These methods may not be supported by Figma or Axure, and may not work correctly. Use at your own risk.

First, when you import a Figma file into Axure, all of the vector data will be converted into bitmap images. This means that if you want to edit your graphics in Axure, you’ll need to export them as PNG or JPEG files first.

Second, keep in mind that not all of Figma’s features are supported in Axure. For example, there’s no way to import animations or interactivity into Axure. So if your Figma file contains any animated elements, you’ll need to recreate them in Axure from scratch.

Finally, because Figma files are converted into bitmap images when imported into Axure, they’ll likely increase the file size of your Axure project. So if your project is already on the large side, importing a Figma file might make it too big to open on some computers.

All things considered, it’s definitely possible to import Figma into Axure. Just be aware of the limitations before you do so.
