Yes, you can design logos in Figma. Here’s how:

1. Begin by creating a new document in Figma.

Enter the desired dimensions for the logo in the Width and Height fields, and click OK.

2. Select the Text tool from the toolbox and enter the name of your company or project in the text field at the top left of the workspace.

3. Select the Ellipse tool from the toolbox and create a small, round ellipse in the center of the text field.

4. Select the Type tool from the toolbox and enter the typeface and font size you want to use in the Type and Size fields, respectively.

5. Click the Stroke button in the Stroke panel to open the Stroke panel.

In the Stroke panel, select the Round Cap option and set the radius to 0.8.

6. Click the Fill button in the Fill panel to open the Fill panel.

In the Fill panel, select the Gradient option and set the start and end colors to #FFF and #000, respectively.

7. Click the OK button to close the Stroke and Fill panels.

8. Drag the ellipse in the center of the document to the desired location, and position it so that the top edge of the ellipse is aligned with the top edge of the text field.

9. Click the Add Anchor button in the Align panel to add an anchor point to the ellipse.

10. Click the Align panel button once again to open the Align panel.

In the Align panel, select the Horizontal Align option and click the Align button.

11. Click the OK button to close the Align panel.

12. Select the Color tool from the toolbox and change the color of the ellipse to #FFF.

In the Stroke panel, select the Round Cap option and set the radius to 1.0.

PRO TIP: Figma is a powerful design tool, but it’s important to remember that it is a design tool first and foremost. As such, it may not be the best tool for creating logos. If you’re looking to create a logo, you may want to consider using a vector drawing program like Adobe Illustrator or Inkscape.

13. Click the logo in the document to select it.

14. In the Properties panel, select the Text tab.

15. In the Text Properties panel, enter the text you want to appear in the logo in the Text field.

16. In the Alignment panel, select the Horizontal Align option and click the Align button.

17. In the Properties panel, select the Font tab.

18. In the Font Properties panel, enter the typeface and font size you want to use in the Type and Size fields, respectively.

19. Click the OK button to close the Text and Font panels.

20. In the Properties panel, select the Link tab.

21. In the Link Properties panel, enter the URL of your website in the URL field.

22. In the Href Aliases field, enter the canonical name of your website, such as www.example.com.

23. In the Title field, enter the title of your website.

24. In the Description field, enter a short description of your website.

25. Click the OK button to close the Link Properties panel.

26. Click the Save button in the toolbar to save your changes to the logo.
