How Do You Put a Video as a Background on Weebly?

Weebly is a popular website builder that allows users to create a website without having to write any code. One of the features that Weebly offers is the ability to add a video as the background of your website.

This can be a great way to add some visual interest to your site, and it’s also a good way to make your site more unique. Here’s how you can add a video as the background of your Weebly site:

First, you’ll need to find a video that you want to use as your background. You can either upload a video that you already have, or you can search for a video on the web. Once you’ve found a video that you want to use, simply click on the “Embed” button.

Next, you’ll need to copy the embed code that is provided. To do this, simply click on the code and then press “Ctrl+C” (Windows) or “Command+C” (Mac).

PRO TIP: Weebly does not support video backgrounds. Any attempt to add a video background on Weebly will result in the background not appearing on the website.

Now that you have the embed code, head over to your Weebly site and select the “Edit” button. This will take you into the Weebly editor, where you can make changes to your site.

Click on the “Add Element” button and then select “Embed Code”. Paste the embed code that you copied earlier into the box that appears. Make sure that the “Aspect Ratio” is set to “16:9”, and then click on the “Apply” button.

Your video will now be added as the background of your Weebly site! You can preview your site by clicking on the “Preview” button, or you can save your changes and publish your site by clicking on the “Publish” button.

Adding a video as a background on Weebly is easy and only requires a few steps. First, find or upload the video you want to use. Then, copy the provided embed code.

Next, head over to Weebly and select ‘Edit’. In the editor, click ‘Add Element’ and select ‘Embed Code’. Finally, paste in the copied embed code and hit ‘Apply’.
