If you’re looking for a simple, yet professional website builder, Squarespace is a great option. But how can you tell if a site is using Squarespace? Here are a few tips:

1. Check the website’s URL

One of the easiest ways to tell if a site is using Squarespace is to check the URL. If you see “.squarespace” in the URL, then chances are the site is built with Squarespace.

For example, take a look at the URL for this very website: www.example.com. See how “.squarespace” is at the end? That’s because it’s built with Squarespace!

2. Look for the Squarespace logo

Another way to tell if a site is using Squarespace is to look for the Squarespace logo in the footer. This logo is usually small and can be easy to miss, but it’s a dead giveaway that the site is built with Squarespace.

PRO TIP: If you are unsure if a website is using Squarespace, we recommend contacting the site’s owner or administrator to confirm. Additionally, you can view the source code of a webpage to look for telltale signs that the site is built on Squarespace. Please note that this method is not foolproof, as some Squarespace users choose to hide or remove references to Squarespace in their site’s code.

3. Inspect the code

If you’re familiar with HTML and web development, then you can inspect the code of any website to see if it’s using Squarespace. Just right-click on any page and select “View Page Source.”

Then, do a search (Ctrl+F or Cmd+F) for “.Squarespace.” If you see that in the code, then you know the site is built with Squarespace.

So those are a few ways you can tell if a site is using Squarespace. Now that you know how to spot them, go forth and build your own beautiful website!
