How Are Figma Drafts Organized?

If you’re new to Figma, you might be wondering how drafts are organized. Here’s a quick rundown:

Drafts are organized by project. When you create a draft, it will be saved in the project that you were working on when you created it. You can access your drafts by opening the File Browser and clicking on the “Drafts” tab.

Within each project, drafts are further organized by page. So, if you have a project with multiple pages, each page will have its own set of drafts. This can be helpful if you want to keep your drafts organized by the different stages of your project.

PRO TIP: Please be aware that Figma Drafts are organized in a way that may not be immediately obvious. The reason for this is to allow for easy collaboration and to ensure that everyone is working on the same version of the draft. However, it is important to be aware of how the drafts are organized so that you can find the version you are looking for.

Finally, within each page, drafts are organized by date. The most recent draft will be at the top of the list, and older drafts will be below it. You can click on any draft to open it and continue working on it.

So that’s how Figma drafts are organized! Keep this in mind as you start creating drafts of your own projects.
