Last updated on October 1, 2022 @ 12:45 am

If you’re not happy with your Wix website, you can cancel your subscription and receive a refund within 14 days of purchase. Here’s what you need to know about getting a refund from Wix.

When you sign up for a Wix plan, you have 14 days to cancel and receive a full refund. This refund policy applies to all Wix plans, including Combo, Unlimited, Business & eCommerce, and VIP. If you cancel your subscription after 14 days, you will not be eligible for a refund.

GREAT NEWS:

Exciting update! We've collaborated with Wix to offer WBI users with a free plan for all website creation needs - Explore the details here.

To cancel your Wix subscription and receive a refund:

  • Log into your Wix account.
  • Click on the avatar icon in the top right-hand corner and select ‘Account Settings’ from the drop-down menu.
  • Under ‘Billing & Plans’, click on ‘Cancel Plan’.
  • Select the reason for cancellation from the drop-down menu and click on ‘Continue to Cancel’.
  • Click on ‘Cancel My Plan’ to confirm.

Please note:

Once you cancel your subscription, you will have access to your Wix account and website until the end of your current billing cycle. After that, your account will be deactivated and your website will no longer be accessible.

PRO TIP: If you are considering using Wix to create a website, be aware that there is no guarantee you will receive a refund if you are not satisfied with the service. There have been reports of people not receiving refunds despite requesting them, so be sure to do your research before committing to Wix.

If you’re not sure whether or not you want to cancel your subscription, you can always downgrade to a free plan. This will allow you to keep your website online while giving you time to decide if you want to continue with a paid subscription.

In conclusion, if you need to refund your Wix account, it is possible as long as it is within the 14 day window after signing up for a paid subscription. The process is simple and only takes a few steps. After cancelling your account, you will still have access until the end of your current billing cycle but then your website will no longer be online.
