Last updated on September 30, 2022 @ 10:51 am

As a freelancer, you have the freedom to work with clients from all over the world. However, you may be wondering how you will get paid for your services. UpWork makes it easy for you to get paid for your work, and there are a few different ways that clients can pay you.

1. Hourly Projects

If you are working on an hourly project, the client will pay you for each hour that you work.

They will add funds to their account, and then release those funds to you at the end of each week. You will then be able to withdraw those funds into your own bank account.

2. Fixed-Price Projects

For fixed-price projects, the client will pay you the full amount of the project upfront.

Once the project is completed, they will approve it and the funds will be released to you. You can then withdraw those funds into your own bank account.

3. Recurring Payments

Some clients may choose to set up recurring payments for your services.

This means that they will pay you on a regular basis, such as weekly or monthly. The payments will be automatically deducted from their account and deposited into yours.
