If you’re based in China, it’s likely that you’ve noticed your Wix account is in Chinese. This is because Wix automatically detects your location and switches the language to match.

  • You recently changed your language settings in your browser or operating system.
  • You’re using a VPN or proxy that is based in China.

If you’re seeing Chinese characters on your Wix account and would prefer to use English, there are a few ways you can change this. The most straightforward way is to simply change the language settings in your account. To do this, follow these steps:

  1. Log into your Wix account.
  2. Click on the ‘Avatar’ icon in the top right-hand corner and select ‘Account Settings’ from the drop-down menu.
  3. In the ‘Basic Info’ section, click on the ‘Edit’ button next to your name.
  4. In the ‘Language’ drop-down menu, select ‘English’.
  5. Click ‘Save’ to save your changes.
