How Do I Transfer Files From Figma to Zeplin?

If you’re a design team that’s using Figma to design your product, you may be wondering how to transfer your designs over to Zeplin. In this article, we’ll show you how to do just that!

First things first, you’ll need to export your designs from Figma. To do this, simply select the “File” menu at the top of your screen and click “Export.”

Once you’ve done that, a pop-up window will appear asking you where you want to export your file. Make sure to select the “Zeplin” option from the drop-down menu and then click “Export.”

PRO TIP: WARNING:

Before transferring files from Figma to Zeplin, please ensure that you have the correct permissions in place. Otherwise, you may not be able to transfer your files or may lose data in the process.

Your file will now be exported as a .json file which can be imported into Zeplin.

To import your design into Zeplin, simply open the Zeplin application and click on the “Import” button in the top-right corner of the screen. Then, select your exported .json file and click “Open.”

Your design will now be imported into Zeplin and you can begin working on it!

How Do I Transfer Files From Figma to Zeplin?
In order to transfer files from Figma to Zeplin, first export the file from Figma as a .json file. Then, open Zeplin and click on the import button in the top right corner of the screen.

Select your .json file and click open. Your design will now be imported into Zeplin!
