How Do You Find and Replace Words in Figma?

One of the most common questions we get is “How do you find and replace words in Figma?” The answer is actually quite simple:

To find and replace words in Figma, simply press Ctrl+F (or Cmd+F on a Mac) to open the Find & Replace dialog. Then, type the word you want to find in the “Find” field, and type the word you want to replace it with in the “Replace” field. Finally, click “Replace All” to replace all occurrences of the word in your design.

PRO TIP: Please be aware that the ‘How Do You Find and Replace Words in Figma?’ feature can be misused. If you use this feature to replace words indiscriminately, it can result in text that is difficult to read or makes no sense. Use this feature with caution and only when absolutely necessary.
