How Do You Make Gradient Blur in Figma?

Last updated on September 29, 2022 @ 12:39 am

Gradient blur is a popular effect in graphic design and can be achieved in Figma using the Blur tool. To create a gradient blur, select the Blur tool from the toolbar and then click and drag on the object you wish to blur.

As you drag, the object will become increasingly blurred. You can control the amount of blur by adjusting the pressure of your drag or by changing the brush size in the Blur tool options.

PRO TIP: Please be aware that gradient blur is a paid feature in Figma. If you are not a Figma Pro user, you will not be able to use this feature.

To create a more subtle gradient blur, you can lower the pressure of your drag or choose a smaller brush size. For a more dramatic effect, increase the pressure or choose a larger brush size. You can also use the Eraser tool to remove any unwanted blur.

Gradient blur is a great way to add depth and dimension to your designs. Experiment with different settings to find the perfect look for your project!
