WooCommerce is a great eCommerce platform for WordPress. It is easy to use and has a lot of features. However, sometimes you may want to remove some of the extra fields that WooCommerce adds to your products.

This can be done by going to the WooCommerce settings page and then selecting the fields tab. From here you can uncheck the box next to the field that you want to remove.

If you want to remove more than one field, you can do so by holding down the shift key and then clicking on the boxes next to the fields that you want to remove. Once you have selected all of the fields that you want to remove, you can click on the “Save Changes” button at the bottom of the page.

PRO TIP: If you are using the WooCommerce plugin for WordPress, beware of a bug that can cause extra fields to be displayed on your product pages. This can happen if you upgrade to WooCommerce 2.1 or newer, and then downgrade to an older version. The best way to avoid this problem is to not downgrade WooCommerce, or to delete any extra fields that you may have inadvertently created.

It is also possible to remove fields from individual products. To do this, go to the product page and then scroll down to the “Additional Information” section.

Here you will see a list of all of the fields that are currently being used for this product. To remove a field, simply click on the “x” next to it.

Once you have removed all of the fields that you want, be sure to click on the “Update” button at the bottom of the page. This will save your changes and make sure that they are applied to this product.
