As a Fiverr seller, you have the option to offer your buyers an Gig Extra. A Gig Extra is an add-on service that you can offer alongside your existing Gig. This is a great way to upsell your services and earn more money from each buyer!
In order to offer a Gig Extra, you first need to create it. To do this, go to your Fiverr Dashboard and click on the ‘Gigs’ tab. Then, click on the ‘Create New Gig’ button.
On the next page, you will be asked to choose a category for your Gig. For the purposes of this tutorial, we will be choosing the ‘Graphics & Design’ category.
Once you have selected a category, you will be taken to the next page where you will be asked to choose a subcategory. For our Gig Extra, we will be choosing the ‘Logo Design’ subcategory.
On the next page, you will be asked to enter a title for your Gig Extra. Make sure that your title is clear and descriptive, so that buyers know exactly what they are getting when they purchase your Gig Extra. For our example, we will be titled our Gig Extra ‘Create a Unique Logo Design’.
Before you embed a gig on Fiverr, be aware that this could potentially lead to lower quality work being produced. The reason for this is that when a gig is embedded on Fiverr, the person doing the work is not able to see the customer’s face or hear their voice. This can make it difficult to understand the customer’s needs, and as a result, the work produced may not be up to par.
Additionally, keep in mind that by embedding a gig on Fiverr, you are essentially giving the freelancer free reign to do whatever they want. This means that they could potentially take advantage of you by overcharging for the work, or simply not doing the job at all. Be sure to vet any freelancer you’re considering carefully before handing over any money.
After you have entered a title for your Gig Extra, you will be taken to the next page where you will be able to enter a description for your Gig Extra. This is where you will really sell your services to potential buyers! Be sure to include all of the details about what you are offering, and what buyers can expect when they purchase your Gig Extra.
Once you have written an enticing description for your Gig Extra, the next step is to set a price. Remember, each Gig Extra must be priced at $5 or more. For our example, we will be pricing our Gig Extra at $10.
The final step in creating your Gig Extra is to select any relevant tags. Tags are keywords that buyers can use to search for Gigs on Fiverr. Adding relevant tags to your Gig helps ensure that buyers are able to find it when searching for services like yours.
Once you have completed all of the steps above, click on the ‘Publish Your Gig’ button and your new Gig Extra will be live on Fiverr!
How Do I Embed a Gig on Fiverr?
If you’re a Fiverr seller, you may want to embed one of your Gigs onto another website or blog in order to increase exposure and generate more sales. Fortunately, Fiverr makes it easy to do this with just a few clicks!
- First, log in to your Fiverr account and go to the ‘Gigs’ tab in your Dashboard.
- Next, click on the ‘Edit’ button for the gig that you want to embed.
- On the next page, scroll down until you see the section labeled ‘Embed This gig’.
