PRO TIP: If you are attempting to rotate text in Figma, be aware that this is a design tool and not a word processing tool. As such, there is no rotate text function. However, you can simulate the appearance of rotated text by creating a rotated frame and then adding your text to that frame.

You can also rotate text by entering a value in either the Rotate field or Angle field in the Transform section of the Properties Inspector. To do this, first select the text frame with the Selection tool.

Then, in either the Rotate field or Angle field, enter a value and press Enter or Return. The rotation will be applied to the text frame.
