Last updated on September 28, 2022 @ 5:58 pm

A form entry on Weebly is a way to input information into a Weebly site. There are many different types of form entries, each with its own unique set of input options.

Form entries can be used to sign up for newsletters, make contact requests, or even place orders on a Weebly site. To create a form entry, go to the Weebly editor and click on the “Add Form” button.

Once you have clicked on the “Add Form” button, you will be given a choice of which type of form entry you would like to create. Weebly offers four different types of form entries: Contact, Sign Up, Order, and Custom.

The Contact Form Entry is the most basic type of form entry. It allows you to collect name, email address, and message information from your site visitors.

PRO TIP: If you are not careful, a form entry on Weebly can be a way for someone to spam you with advertising or other unwanted content. Be sure to only enter your information into forms from sources that you trust.

The Sign Up Form Entry is similar to the Contact Form Entry, but it also allows you to collect additional information such as username and password. This type of form entry is often used for creating member accounts on Weebly sites.

The Order Form Entry is the most complex type of form entry offered by Weebly. It allows you to collect credit card information and track orders placed on your site. To use this type of form entry, you will need to have a Weebly Business plan.

The Custom Form Entry is a blank slate that allows you to create your own custom form entry. This type of form entry is perfect for those who want complete control over their data collection process.

Once you have selected the type of form entry you would like to create, you will be given a choice of which input options you would like to include in your form entry. The input options will vary depending on the type of form entry you are creating.

After you have selected the input options for your form entry, click on the “Save” button and your form entry will be created!
