To use the References tool:

  1. Click the Add New Reference button
  2. Enter the name, email address, and relationship of the person you would like to add as a reference
  3. Once the person you’ve added has accepted your request, their contact information will be displayed on your profile

The second way to reference in UpWork is to include a link to your references in your profile overview. To do this:

  1. Go to your Profile Overview tab
  2. Scroll down to the About Me section
  3. In the About Me section, you will see a text box where you can enter information about yourself
  4. In this text box, you can enter a link to your references page including https://
  5. Once you have entered the link, click Save at the bottom of the page

The third way to reference in UpWork is to add a link to your references in your portfolio.

  1. Go to your Portfolio tab
  2. Click on the Add Project button
  3. In the Add Project window, scroll down to the Description section
  4. In the Description section, you will see a text box where you can enter information about the project

Adding references through these three ways will help increase your chances of getting hired on UpWork.

PRO TIP: The Upwork platform is a great way to find work and get paid for your skills, but it’s important to know how to reference properly in order to avoid any potential problems. When referencing in Upwork, always be sure to include the following information:

-The name of the person or company you’re referencing

-The date of the reference

-Your specific reason for referencing them

-Any relevant contact information
