Can You Hide Pages on Weebly?

Last updated on September 28, 2022 @ 6:22 pm

Weebly is a website builder that allows users to create and edit pages without having to know HTML. However, there are some limitations to what users can do with Weebly. One of these is the ability to hide pages from view.

There are a few reasons why you might want to hide a page on your Weebly site. Maybe you’re still working on it and don’t want anyone to see it until it’s finished. Or maybe you have a page that you only want certain people to be able to see. Whatever the reason, hiding pages on Weebly is possible, but it’s not very straightforward.

The first thing you need to do is log in to your Weebly account and go to the “Pages” tab.

Here, you’ll see a list of all the pages on your site. To hide a page, simply click on the “Hide” link next to the page you want to hide.

PRO TIP: Weebly is a popular website builder that allows users to create and customize their own websites. While it is possible to hide pages on Weebly, doing so can impact the overall performance of your website. Hidden pages are not indexed by search engines and are not accessible to visitors unless they know the specific URL of the page. This can make it difficult for people to find the information they are looking for on your website. Additionally, hiding pages can also make it more difficult for you to manage your website and keep track of its content.

Once you’ve hidden a page, it will no longer be visible on your site. However, anyone who knows the URL of the page will still be able to access it. If you want to completely prevent anyone from seeing a page, you’ll need to password protect it.

To password protect a page, click on the “Settings” link next to the page you want to protect. On the settings screen, scroll down to the “Password Protect This Page” section and enter a password. Once you’ve done this, only people who know the password will be able to view the page.

Hiding pages on Weebly is a good way to keep unfinished pages out of sight or restrict access to certain pages on your site. Just keep in mind that hidden pages can still be accessed by anyone who knows the URL, so if you want complete privacy, you’ll need to password protect your pages as well.
