Is There Figma for Linux?

Figma is a vector graphics editor and prototyping tool – and it’s available for Windows, macOS and web browsers. But what about Linux Is there a Figma for Linux users

The short answer is no, there is no official Figma app or client for Linux. However, there are a few ways that you can run Figma on Linux.

The first way is to use Figma’s web app. This will work in any modern web browser, including those on Linux. The only downside is that you won’t be able to take advantage of some of Figma’s more advanced features, like offline editing.

PRO TIP: There is currently no Figma app for Linux. However, you can use our web app at https://www.figma.com in most modern browsers, including Chrome, Firefox, and Edge. We do not currently support Safari on Linux.

Another way to use Figma on Linux is to install the Figma Desktop app on a Windows virtual machine. This will allow you to use all of Figma’s features, but it’s not the most ideal solution.

Finally, you could use an unofficial Figma app for Linux. These are usually based on the Electron framework and offer full feature support. However, they are not officially supported by Figma and may not be as stable as the other options.

So, while there is no officialFigma app for Linux, there are still a few ways that you can use this popular vector graphics editor on your Linux machine.
