What Does Rejected Mean in Fiverr?

Last updated on September 28, 2022 @ 11:43 pm

Rejection. It’s something we all face at some point in our lives.

And it never feels good. Whether we’re talking about a job, a relationship, or something else, being rejected always stings.

PRO TIP: If you receive a notification that your gig has been rejected on Fiverr, it means that your gig did not meet Fiverr’s Gig Quality Standards. When this happens, your gig will not be visible to buyers and you will not be able to sell it.

But what does it mean when you’re rejected on Fiverr?

There are a few different ways that you can be rejected on Fiverr. The first is if you apply for a gig and the buyer chooses someone else.

This is the most common form of rejection and it’s usually not personal. The buyer may have just found someone whose skills better fit their needs or they may have found someone who was cheaper.

The second way you can be rejected is if the buyer cancels the gig before you even start working on it. This can happen for a variety of reasons, but it’s usually because the buyer changed their mind about what they wanted or they couldn’t afford the gig. Again, this isn’t personal and there’s nothing you can do to prevent it from happening.

The third way you can be rejected is if you violate Fiverr’s Terms of Service. This could happen if you delivered subpar work, didn’t deliver on time, or tried to scam the buyer in some way. If this happens, your account will be suspended and you won’t be able to sell gigs on Fiverr anymore.

So, as you can see, there are a few different ways that you can be rejected on Fiverr. But don’t let that stop you from applying for gigs! Just keep putting yourself out there and eventually you’ll find the right buyer who appreciates your skills.
