Can I Import Figma File in Adobe XD?

Last updated on September 29, 2022 @ 8:53 am

Figma is a vector drawing and animation software that was released in 2015. It is available for Windows, macOS, and Linux.

Adobe XD is a vector-based tool for designing and prototyping user experience for web and mobile apps. It is available for Windows and macOS. Both Figma and Adobe XD support importing from other vector-based formats such as SVG, AI, and EPS.

PRO TIP: Figma files cannot be imported into Adobe XD. Any attempt to do so may result in data loss or file corruption.

However, there are some differences between the two programs that make them incompatible with each other. For example, Figma uses layers to organize objects while Adobe XD uses artboards. Additionally, Figma supports exporting to HTML while Adobe XD does not.

So, while both Figma and Adobe XD are vector-based design tools, they are not compatible with each other and cannot directly import or export files between the two programs.
