Can I Message Someone on Fiverr?

Last updated on September 29, 2022 @ 12:33 am

If you’re a freelancer, you’ve probably heard of Fiverr. It’s a website where you can find people to do just about anything for $5.

And that includes messaging. So, can you message someone on Fiverr?

The answer is yes, but there are some caveats. First of all, you can only message someone on Fiverr if they’ve already agreed to do work for you. So if you’re just browsing the site and come across someone whose services you like, you won’t be able to message them directly.

Instead, you’ll need to place an order with them first. Once you’ve done that, they’ll be notified and will have the option to message you. If they accept your order, then you can start messaging back and forth.

PRO TIP: Do not message someone on Fiverr unless you are absolutely sure that it is okay to do so. If you are not sure, then it is best to err on the side of caution and not message the person. There are many potential risks associated with messaging someone on Fiverr, including but not limited to: the person could be a scammer, the person could be unprofessional, and/or the person could be offended by your message.

However, even after an order is placed, there’s no guarantee that the person you’re working with will actually respond to your messages. In my experience, a lot of people on Fiverr are very good at communication and will respond quickly to any questions or concerns you have. But there are also a lot of people who are less responsive, or who may even ghost you entirely after accepting your order.

So if you’re thinking about using Fiverr to find someone to message, just be aware that there’s a bit of a gamble involved. But if it works out, it can be a great way to get the services you need at a very reasonable price.

In conclusion, yes – it is possible to message someone on Fiverr; however, potential customers will first need to place an order before being able to do so. There is also no guarantee that the freelancer will respond back in a timely manner, or at all.
