Does Figma Have CMYK?

Last updated on September 29, 2022 @ 9:35 am

Figma is a vector graphics editor and online collaboration tool that allows users to design, prototype and iterate vector graphics together in real-time. It is primarily used for web and interface design, but can also be used for illustration and iconography.

Figma supports multiple export formats, including PNG, JPG, SVG and PDF. One question we often get asked is: does Figma support CMYK?

The answer is no, Figma does not currently support CMYK. However, we are constantly working on adding new features and improvements to our application, so it’s possible that CMYK support may be added in the future.

PRO TIP: Figma does not currently support CMYK color profiles. This means that any colors you create in Figma using a CMYK color profile will be converted to RGB when you export them.

In the meantime, there are a few workarounds that you can use if you need to export your designs in CMYK format. One option is to export your design as an RGB PNG or JPG file, and then convert it to CMYK using an image editing program like Photoshop or GIMP. Another option is to export your design as an SVG file, and then use a program like Inkscape to convert it to CMYK.

We hope this article has been helpful in answering your question. If you have any further questions about Figma, please don’t hesitate to contact us. Thanks for reading!
