Does Figma Store Images?

There’s no doubt that Figma is a powerful design tool. But one of the things that makes Figma so great is its ability to store images. Whether you’re working on a personal project or collaborating with others, Figma makes it easy to add images to your designs and keep them organized in one place.

So, does Figma store images? The short answer is yes!

PRO TIP: Figma does not store images. If you upload an image to Figma, it will be stored on the server that hosts your Figma account. The image will not be stored on Figma’s servers.

When you upload an image to Figma, it is stored in the cloud and made available to you anytime you need it. Plus, Figma keeps a history of your images so you can always go back and find the original if you need to.

That said, there are some limitations to how Figma stores images. For example,Figmas free plan only allows you to upload up to 2GB of data total, which includes images. And if you want to use premium features like unlimited storage or advanced collaboration tools, you’ll need to upgrade to a paid plan.

Still, for most users, Figma’s image storage capabilities will be more than enough. So if you’re looking for a design tool that can help you manage your images, be sure to give Figma a try!
