What Are Related Products in WooCommerce?

Last updated on October 1, 2022 @ 5:47 pm

Product A and Product B are called related products. In WooCommerce, when you add a product to your cart, related products are displayed on the cart page.

These are products that are often purchased together. For example, if you add a pair of shoes to your cart, related products might be socks or shoelaces.

You can add related products to any product in your WooCommerce store. To do this, edit the product and scroll down to the “Related Products” section. Here, you can add or remove products from the “Related Products” list.

When adding products to the “Related Products” list, you can search for products by name or SKU. You can also add products by ID.

To find a product’s ID, go to WooCommerce > Products and hover over the product. The ID will be displayed in the URL:

Related products are simply other products in your store that might be of interest to your customers. For example, if someone is viewing a product page for a pair of shoes, you might display other items such as socks or shoelaces as related products.

PRO TIP: Please be aware that related products in WooCommerce can be displayed in a number of ways and may not always be clearly labelled as such. If you are unsure about a product, please contact the seller for more information.
