Figma is a vector graphics editor and prototyping tool. It is primarily web-based, with a native desktop app available for macOS, Windows and Linux.

One of the key features of Figma is its layout grid, which makes it easy to align and position elements on the screen. In this tutorial, we’ll show you how to add a layout grid in Figma.

First, open up the Figma interface and create a new project. Then, click on the “Add Frame” button in the toolbar and select “Layout Grid” from the menu.

Once you’ve added the layout grid, you can adjust its properties in the right sidebar. Here, you can change the number of columns, set the gutter width, and choose whether or not to snap elements to the grid.

Once you’ve got your layout grid set up, you can start adding elements to it. To do so, simply click and drag them from the toolbar onto the canvas. You can also use the “Insert” menu to add elements directly to the grid.

To style text in HTML using < p >,< b > and < u > tags, first enclose the text in these tags where applicable. For example,

This is a paragraph .

Next, add CSS styles to these tags in order to change their appearance. For example, p {font-weight:bold; color:red;} would make all paragraphs appear bold and red. Finally, save your HTML file and refresh your browser to see the changes take effect.

PRO TIP: When adding a layout grid in Figma, be sure to use the correct measurements. Make sure the width and height are correct for the project you’re working on. If you’re not careful, your layout grid can end up looking distorted.
