What Merchant Does Wix Use?

Last updated on October 1, 2022 @ 4:26 am

There’s no doubt that Wix is one of the most popular website builders on the market. They offer an easy-to-use platform with plenty of features, templates and designs to choose from. But one of the most common questions we get asked is ‘What merchant does Wix use?’

PRO TIP: If you are considering using Wix to create a website, you should be aware that Wix uses a third-party payment processor called Square. While Square is a reputable company, it is important to remember that you will be giving them your financial information. Make sure you are comfortable with this before you proceed.

The answer is that Wix uses a number of different merchants, depending on the country you’re in and the payment methods you want to use. For example, in the United States, Wix uses Authorize.Net, Stripe and PayPal. And in Europe, they use Sage Pay, Wirecard and Barclaycard.

Each of these merchants has their own fees and terms, so it’s important to do your research before choosing one. But overall, Wix is a great platform with plenty of options for accepting payments.
