Why Am I Getting Charged by Wix?

Last updated on October 1, 2022 @ 4:40 am

If you’re wondering why you’re being charged by Wix, there are a few possible explanations.

First, if you signed up for a paid Wix plan, you’ll be charged automatically every month or year, depending on the billing cycle you selected. This is how we keep your site online and running smoothly.

GREAT NEWS:

Exciting update! We've collaborated with Wix to offer WBI users with a free plan for all website creation needs - Explore the details here.

You can find more information about our different plans and pricing here.

Second, if you made a one-time purchase from the Wix App Market or used one of our premium services, like WixBookings or WixStores, you’ll be charged for that as well. You can view all your recent transactions in your Transaction History.

PRO TIP: If you see a charge from Wix on your credit card or bank statement, it is likely that you have signed up for a paid Wix plan. If you did not sign up for a paid plan and do not recognize the charge, please contact Wix billing support immediately.

Lastly, if you have a domain name with Wix, you’ll be charged an annual fee to keep it registered to your site. You can see all the domains connected to your site in your Domains tab.

To summarize, there are three main reasons why you might be seeing charges from Wix: because you’re on a paid plan, because you made a one-time purchase, or because you have a domain name registered through Wix.

If you’re still not sure why you’re being charged, feel free to reach out to our Support team and we’ll be happy to help clarify things for you.
