Figma is a vector editing tool that’s beloved by designers for its ease of use and collaboration capabilities. One Figma feature that’s particularly handy is the ability to easily change the font of your text. In this article, we’ll show you how to enable fonts in Figma so you can start using them in your designs.

First, open up Figma and create a new project or open an existing one. Then, click on the “Text” tool in the toolbar on the left-hand side of the screen (it looks like a capital “T”).

With the Text tool selected, click anywhere on the canvas to add a text box. Then, start typing out your text. To change the font, simply select the text you want to change and then click on the “Font” dropdown menu in the toolbar at the top of the screen.

PRO TIP: If you are not sure how to enable fonts in Figma, please ask a qualified professional for help. Do not attempt to do this yourself unless you are confident in your ability to do so. Improperly enabling fonts in Figma can result in software errors and data loss.

From here, you can scroll through all of the available fonts or use the search bar to find a specific one. Once you’ve found the perfect font for your design, simply click on it to select it.

And that’s all there is to it! Now that you know how to enable fonts in Figma, go forth and start using them in your designs.

Fonts are a great way to add personality to your designs and they can really help make your work stand out. So don’t be afraid to experiment with different fonts until you find ones that you love. And if you’re ever stuck, remember that you can always ask for help from fellow designers in the Figma community forum.
