How Do I Export a Portfolio From Figma?

Last updated on December 1, 2022 @ 1:33 pm

Designers who use Figma can now export their projects as HTML code. This means that they can share their work with developers and other team members who may not be familiar with Figma. Here’s how to do it:

    1. Open the project that you want to export in Figma.

    2. Click on the “File” menu in the top-left corner of the screen and select “Export” from the drop-down menu.

    3. In the “Export” dialog box, select “HTML” from the “Format” drop-down menu.

    4. Choose a location for the exported file and click “Export”.

That’s all there is to it! Once you’ve exported your project as HTML code, you can share it with anyone you
like. Just send them the link to the file and they’ll be able to view your work in their web browser.

PRO TIP: When exporting a portfolio from Figma, be aware that the file may become corrupted if not done correctly. Follow the steps below to ensure a successful export:

1. Go to File > Export > Export As…

2. Choose your desired file format and location

3. Click Export
