When you want to share your work with someone, you can export it as a PDF, image, or JSON file. To export a whole file in Figma:

  1. Click the File tab in the top-left corner of the screen.
  2. Click Export. If you want to export a specific layer or frame, select it in the canvas first.
  3. Choose the format you want to export your file as. Your file will download automatically.

To style text in HTML using tags:

  1. Select the text you want to style.

  2. Click the “A” icon in the top toolbar.

  3. Select the appropriate tag from the dropdown menu (for example, “paragraph” or “bold)”.

  4. (Optional) To remove a tag, click the “x” next to it in the top toolbar.

PRO TIP: If you’re looking to export an entire file from Figma, be warned that this will export every single frame in your file—including any hidden or locked layers. This could lead to a very large export file, so be sure to check the file size before proceeding.
