There are two ways to connect your domain to Wix: DNS and nameservers. We recommend using DNS if you have an existing website that you want to keep live while you build your Wix website.
Nameservers are best for brand new websites or if you don’t have an existing website that you want to keep live.
Here’s how to connect your domain using DNS:
- Log in to your Wix account and go to Domains. If you don’t have a Wix account yet, create one here.
- Click Connect Domain.
- Enter your domain name and click Continue.
- Follow the on-screen instructions. We’ll give you specific instructions on what settings to update on your domain registrar’s site.
