How Do I Import a PNG File Into Figma?

PRO TIP: When importing a PNG file into Figma, be aware that the file may not be compatible with the software. This could result in the file being unreadable or the software not being able to open the file.

There are a few different ways that you can import a PNG file into Figma. The first way is to simply drag and drop the file into the interface.

You can also click the “Upload” button in the upper left-hand corner and select your file from there. The second way is to sync your files with Figma, which will allow you to access them from anywhere. To do this, click the “Sync” button in the upper left-hand corner and follow the instructions.

The third way to import a PNG file into Figma is to use an external service like Dropbox or Google Drive. To do this, simply click the “Connect” button in the upper left-hand corner and follow the instructions. Once you’re connected, you’ll be able to select your PNG file from within Figma.

Once you have your PNG file imported into Figma, you can then begin to style it. To do this, simply select the layer that you want to style and then click on the “Style” tab in the right-hand panel.

From here, you can change the color, opacity, and other properties of your layer. You can also add a stroke or a gradient by clicking on the “Stroke” or “Gradient” buttons.

Once you’re finished styling your layer, you can then add it to your design by clicking on the “Add to Design” button in the upper right-hand corner. This will add your layer to the current frame that you have selected. You can also add your layer to a new frame by clicking on the “New Frame” button in the upper right-hand corner.
