There are a variety of ways to import material icons into Figma. One way is to use the “Insert” menu at the top of the screen and selecting “Icons.”
This will bring up a searchable library of icons. Another way is to go to “File” > “Import” > “Upload Images,” and then select the icons you wish to upload.
Once you have imported your icons, you can change their color, size, and alignment using the “Format” options in the top toolbar. You can also add text to your icons using the “Text” tool. To style your text, simply select the text you wish to style and then use the < p >, < b >, and < u > tags in the HTML editor.
PRO TIP: When importing material icons into Figma, be sure to select the correct file format (.svg or .png), as well as the correct size and color. Also, be sure to check that the icons you are importing are compatible with the Figma platform.
