When you decide to cancel your Wix.com account, you may be wondering if you will be refunded for any remaining time on your subscription. The answer is: it depends.

If you cancel your Wix account within 14 days of signing up, you are automatically entitled to a full refund. This is in accordance with the European Union’s Consumer Protection Regulations.

GREAT NEWS:

Exciting update! We've collaborated with Wix to offer WBI users with a free plan for all website creation needs - Explore the details here.

If you cancel your Wix account after 14 days, you will only be refunded if you have a yearly subscription plan. If you have a monthly subscription, you will not be refunded for any remaining time on your subscription.

PRO TIP: If you are thinking about requesting a refund for your Wix account, be aware that there is a possibility that you may be charged a fee. According to the Wix Terms of Service, “Wix reserves the right to charge a processing fee for refunds at its sole discretion.” So, if you are considering asking for a refund, be sure to factor this possible fee into your decision.

In order to cancel your Wix account and request a refund (if applicable), simply go to the Account tab in your Wix Editor and click on Billing. From there, you will see the option to Cancel Plan. Once you click that, follow the prompts to confirm your cancellation and request a refund (if applicable).
