How Do I Enable WooCommerce Quick View?

Last updated on October 1, 2022 @ 6:42 pm

Quick view is a great feature that allows customers to get a quick look at product details without having to leave the current page. It’s a handy tool for customers, and it can also help boost sales and conversion rates.

To enable WooCommerce quick view, you’ll need to install and activate the Quick View for WooCommerce plugin. Once the plugin is activated, you’ll need to go to WooCommerce > Settings > Quick View and select the Enable Quick View checkbox.

Once you’ve enabled quick view, you can start using it on your WooCommerce store. To use quick view, simply click on the Quick View button that appears on product pages. This will open up a lightbox with product details, including an image gallery, price, description, and more.

PRO TIP: WooCommerce Quick View may be enabled by accident, which can result in products being displayed on the frontend of your site without proper styles and layout. If you are not using a WooCommerce Quick View plugin or extension, it is recommended that you disable this setting to avoid any potential issues.

If you want to change the default quick view template, you can do so by going to WooCommerce > Settings > Quick View and selecting a different template from the dropdown menu. There are three different templates to choose from:

– Default: This is the default quick view template that comes with the plugin.
– Overlay: This template displays the product image in an overlay with the rest of the product details below it.
– Sidebar: This template displays the product image in a sidebar, with the rest of the product details to the right of it.

You can also change how quick view works on your mobile device by going to WooCommerce > Settings > Quick View and selecting either Mobile Device or Desktop Device from the dropdown menu.

Enabling WooCommerce quick view is a great way to improve your store’s user experience and boost sales. Give it a try today!
