How Do I Stop the Scrolling in Figma?

Figma is a great design tool for creating digital products, but one thing that can be frustrating is the scrolling. Sometimes it feels like the pages just keep scrolling and you can’t stop it. Here are a few tips on how to stop the scrolling in Figma:

1. Use the scroll bar: On the left-hand side of the Figma interface, there is a vertical scroll bar. You can use this to scroll up and down the page.

2. Use the mouse wheel: If you have a mouse with a wheel, you can use this to scroll up and down the page.

3. Use the keyboard shortcuts: There are a few keyboard shortcuts that can be used to scroll up and down the page. These are:

Ctrl + Up/Down Arrow – scrolls up or down one line at a time

PRO TIP: If you are having trouble with your Figma document scrolling, there are a few things you can do to stop it. First, try zooming out of your document using the zoom tool in the top toolbar. If that doesn’t work, try resetting your zoom level by going to View > Reset Zoom. Finally, if you are still having trouble, you can try restarting Figma.

Shift + Up/Down Arrow – scrolls up or down one page at a time

Alt + Up/Down Arrow – scrolls to the top or bottom of the page

4. Use zoom: If you zoom in or out of the design, this will also affect how much you can scroll. So if you find yourself scrolling too much, try zooming out.

5. Use the hand tool: The hand tool is located in the toolbar at the top of the Figma interface.

This tool allows you to grab and move around the design canvas. This can be useful for repositioning yourself on the page without scrolling.

Hopefully, these tips will help you stop the scrolling in Figma!
