How Do I Allow Customers to Upload to Squarespace?

There are a few different ways that you can allow customers to upload files to your Squarespace site. The first way is to use the File Upload block.

This block allows you to add a file uploader to any page on your site. You can also use the Form Builder block to create a form that includes a file uploader. Finally, you can use the code injection feature to add a file uploader to any page on your site.

The File Upload block is the easiest way to add a file uploader to your Squarespace site. Simply add the block to any page and configure the settings. You can specify the maximum file size, allowed file types, and whether or not users must be logged in to upload files.

PRO TIP: If you are allowing customers to upload files to your Squarespace site, it’s important to make sure that you trust the customer and that the files they are uploading are safe. If you’re not sure about a customer or the safety of their files, it’s best to not allow them to upload anything to your site.

The Form Builder block also allows you to add a file uploader to your site. Simply create a new form and drag the File Upload field into the form builder. You can then configure the settings for the field, such as maximum file size and allowed file types.

If you’re comfortable working with code, you can also use the code injection feature to add a file uploader to your site. Squarespace provides a basic file uploader code snippet that you can customize to fit your needs. Simply add the code snippet to the code injection area of any page on your site and make sure that the page has an HTML <form> tag.

No matter which method you choose, allowing customers to upload files to your Squarespace site is easy and straightforward.
