What is a source file in Fiverr?

Last updated on September 24, 2022 @ 9:55 pm

When you create an offer on Fiverr, you will need to upload a file. This file is called the source file.

A source file is simply any file that you want to use in your offer. It can be a picture, a video, a PDF, or anything else.

PRO TIP: Please be aware that the term “source file” in Fiverr refers to the original file that you used to create your gig. This is different from the term “source code,” which refers to the code used to create software. If you are unsure about what kind of file you need to provide for your gig, please contact customer support.

The source file is what your customers will use to create the finished product. It’s important to make sure that the file is of good quality and that it meets the specifications that you specified when you created your offer.

If you need help creating a source file, Fiverr has a helpful guide on how to do it.

Once you have uploaded your source file, you’re ready to start selling! Click the “Sell” button on your offer, and start accepting orders.
