WooCommerce is a powerful eCommerce plugin that helps you sell anything online. If you’re using WooCommerce to sell products on your WordPress site, you may want to change the default WooCommerce homepage.

The WooCommerce homepage is the page that your visitors will see when they first visit your site. By default, this page includes a product grid and a search bar. If you want to completely remove the WooCommerce homepage and replace it with a custom page, you can do so by following these steps:

PRO TIP: If you are planning on deleting your WooCommerce homepage, it is important to note that this will also delete any products or pages that are currently assigned to that homepage. This could potentially cause major problems with your website. Before taking this action, be sure to back up your website and test everything thoroughly.

  2. Add the [woocommerce_cart] shortcode. This shortcode will display the contents of the shopping cart on your new page.
  3. Add the [woocommerce_checkout] shortcode.

This shortcode will display the checkout form on your new page.

  4. Publish your new page. Go to the WooCommerce > Settings page and select your new page from the Homepage drop-down menu. Save your changes.
