There are a few different ways that you can duplicate a content block in Squarespace. One way is to simply duplicate the block itself.

To do this, hover over the content block you want to duplicate and click on the Duplicate button that appears. This will create an exact copy of the content block right below the original one.

Another way to duplicate a content block is to copy and paste the code for the block into a new content block. To do this, go into Code View for the page you’re working on and find the code for the content block you want to duplicate.

PRO TIP: Please be aware that duplicating a content block in Squarespace may result in unexpected behaviour. We recommend testing this feature on a staging site before implementing it on a live site.

Then, create a new content block on the page and paste the code into it. This method is helpful if you want to make slight changes to the duplicated content block, such as changing the background color or adding a border.

Finally, you can also duplicate a content block by exporting it as HTML and then importing it into a new content block. To do this, go into Export View for the page you’re working on and find the HTML code for the content block you want to duplicate.

Then, create a new content block on the page and paste the HTML code into it. This method is helpful if you want to make more significant changes to the duplicated content block, such as changing its overall layout or adding additional functionality.

If you’re not sure which method to use, try out each one and see which one works best for your needs.
