How Do I Embed Music in Squarespace?

There are a few ways to add music to your Squarespace website. One way is to use an HTML widget.

You can find these by going to Design > click on the + sign next to Widgets > scroll down and find the HTML widget. Once you add the HTML widget to your page, you can then paste your embed code from wherever you’re getting your music.

Another way to add music is by using the Audio Block. With this method, you can upload an MP3 file directly from your computer onto your Squarespace website.

To do this, go to Content > click on the + sign next to Pages > scroll down and find the Audio Block. Once you add the Audio Block, click on the grey arrow icon > select Upload Audio File > choose your file > click Open.

You can also style text in HTML using <p>, <b> and <u> tags where applicable.

Finally, remember that any music you embed on your Squarespace site will need to be hosted elsewhere. This means you will need to make sure you have the rights to use the song(s) you select, and that you have a reliable hosting solution in place. If the song(s) you use are not properly licensed, you could be
