If you’re looking to set up an auction on Squarespace, there are a few things you’ll need to do in order to get started. First, you’ll need to create a new page on your Squarespace site.

To do this, simply click on the “Pages” tab in the left-hand sidebar of your Squarespace dashboard. Then, click on the “Add Page” button at the top of the page.

Once you’ve clicked on the “Add Page” button, you’ll be presented with a few different page options. Select “Auction” from the list of options and then click on the “Select” button.

Now that you’ve created your auction page, it’s time to start adding some content. The first thing you’ll need to do is add a title for your auction. To do this, simply click on the “Title” field and type in a title for your auction.

Next, you’ll need to add some text describing your auction. To do this, click on the “Description” field and type in a description of your auction. Be sure to include all pertinent information, such as what items will be up for auction and when the auction will take place.

Once you’ve added a title and description for your auction, it’s time to start adding some photos. To do this, click on the “Images” tab in the left-hand sidebar of your Squarespace dashboard. Then, click on the “Add Images” button at the top of the page.

This will open up a popup window where you can select the images you want to add to your auction page. Once you’ve selected all of the images you want to use, simply click on the “Done” button.

Your images will now appear on your auction page. You can rearrange them by clicking and dragging them into place. If you want to add more images, simply click on the “Add Images” button again and repeat the process.

Once you’re happy with how your images look, it’s time to add some pricing information. To do this, click on the “Pricing” tab in the left-hand sidebar of your Squarespace dashboard. Then, select either “Fixed Price” or “Variable Price”, depending on how you want to price your items.

If you select “Fixed Price”, you’ll be able to set one price for all of the items in your auction. Simply enter the price into the “Price” field and then click on the “Save” button.

If you select “Variable Price”, you’ll be able to set different prices for each item in your auction. To do this, simply enter the prices for each item into their respective fields and then click on the “Save” button.

PRO TIP: If you are considering setting up an auction on Squarespace, there are a few things you should be aware of. First, Squarespace is not an accredited auction house, so you will not be able to offer certain items for auction that require accreditation (e.g. art, antiques, etc.). Secondly, Squarespace does not provide any guarantee of payment for items sold at auction – it is up to the buyer and seller to make arrangements for payment and delivery. Finally, while Squarespace does have a built-in bidding system, it is not as sophisticated as some other online auction platforms, so you may want to consider using a third-party service if you are planning to run a more complex auction.

That’s it! You’ve now successfully set up an auction on Squarespace.
