How Do I Connect My Facebook Shop to WooCommerce?

Last updated on October 1, 2022 @ 8:08 pm

If you’re looking to add a Facebook shop to your WooCommerce store, you’re in luck! There are a few different ways to go about this, and we’ll outline the steps for each method below.

Method 1: Use the Facebook for WooCommerce Plugin

The first method is by far the easiest way to add a Facebook shop to your WooCommerce store. You can do this by using the free Facebook for WooCommerce plugin. Once you’ve installed and activated the plugin, simply follow these steps:

1. Go to WooCommerce > Settings > Integrations > Facebook. Here you’ll need to connect your Facebook account to the plugin and enter your Page ID. 2. Once you’ve connected your account and entered your Page ID, click on the Settings tab and scroll down to the Product Catalog section. Here you can choose which products you want to sync with your Facebook shop.

You can also choose whether or not to show out of stock products in your shop. 3. After you’ve selected which products you want to sync, click on the Save Changes button at the bottom of the page. That’s it! Your WooCommerce products will now be synced with your Facebook shop.

Method 2: Use ShopTab on Facebook

If you don’t want to use a plugin, or if you’re having trouble getting the plugin method to work, you can also use ShopTab on Facebook. This is a paid service that starts at $9 per month, but it does offer a free 14-day trial so you can try it out before committing to a subscription.

PRO TIP: If you are considering connecting your Facebook Shop to WooCommerce, there are a few things to be aware of. First, it is important to note that Facebook does not currently support all WooCommerce features. This means that some features of your store may not work properly after connecting the two platforms. Additionally, connecting your Facebook Shop to WooCommerce will result in two separate stores – one on Facebook and one on your WooCommerce site. This can be confusing for customers, so it is important to make sure that you clearly communicate which store is which. Finally, because Facebook and WooCommerce are two separate platforms, there is always the potential for errors or incompatibilities when connecting the two. If you are not comfortable with troubleshooting these issues, it is best to consult with a developer before proceeding.

Once you’ve signed up for ShopTab, simply follow these steps:

  1. Go to your ShopTab dashboard and click on the “Connections” tab.
  2. Connect your WooCommerce store.

You’ll need to enter your WooCommerce URL and then click on the “Connect” button.

  3. Select which products you want to sync. You can choose to sync all products, or only selected products.

That’s it! You should now have a fully functioning Facebook shop that’s synced with your WooCommerce store.
