Last updated on September 24, 2022 @ 9:01 pm

In order to create a strong UI UX portfolio, designers should focus on demonstrating their skills in three key areas: user research, design, and development. In addition, portfolios should showcase a designers’ ability to think critically and solve problems.

User research is essential for understanding the needs of users and designing interfaces that meet those needs. A designer should be able to conduct user research, develop prototypes, and measure the effectiveness of their designs.

PRO TIP: When creating a portfolio for a UI/UX position, make sure to include a variety of projects that showcase your skills in designing user interfaces and user experiences. Include both web and mobile projects, as well as any wireframes or prototypes you have created. Also be sure to highlight any user research you have conducted and any user testing you have conducted.

Design is the process of creating a visual representation of the user interface. A designer should be able to create well-organized and attractive designs, as well as assess the user experience.

Development is the process of creating and implementing the user interface. A designer should be able to develop prototypes and implement them in a realistic environment.
