There are a few things you need to do in order to get started using UpWork Escrow. First, you need to have an account on UpWork. If you don’t have an account, you can create one here.
Once you have an account, log in and click on the “My Money” tab at the top of the page. On the right-hand side, you will see an option for “Escrow.” Click on that and then click on the “Get Started” button.
Now that you’re on the UpWork Escrow page, you need to link your bank account. This is so that when you receive payments through UpWork Escrow, the money will go directly into your bank account. To do this, click on the “Link Your Bank Account” button and enter your bank account information.
The next step is to add funds to your UpWork Escrow balance. This is so that when you hire someone through UpWork, the funds will be available to pay them.
To add funds, click on the “Add Funds” button and enter the amount of money you want to add to your balance. You can either add funds using your credit card or your bank account.
Once you’ve added funds to your balance, you’re ready to start using UpWork Escrow! To use escrow, simply go to the job posting page and click on the “Hire” button.
This will take you to a page where you can enter how much money you want to pay the freelancer and how long they have to complete the job. Once you’ve entered this information, click on the “Place Your Order” button and your freelancer will be hired!
If everything goes smoothly with your job, then once it’s completed, your freelancer will be paid automatically through UpWork Escrow. If there are any problems with the job, though, then you can open up a dispute through UpWork Escrow.
To do this, simply go to the job page and click on the “Dispute” button. From there, you can explain what went wrong and why you think the freelancer should not be paid. Once you submit your dispute, UpWork will review it and make a decision about whether or not to pay the freelancer.
