WordPress is one of the most popular open-source content management systems (CMS) in the world. It’s a powerful platform that can be used to create a website or blog.
If you want to host a WordPress site on DigitalOcean, you first need to create a Droplet. You can do this by heading to Droplets and clicking on the Create droplet button.
When you create your Droplet, you’ll need to provide some information about your site. First, you’ll need to choose a name for your Droplet.
You can use anything you want, but make sure that you choose a name that’s easy to remember.
Next, you’ll need to choose a Droplet size. You can choose between a small (1GB) or medium (4GB) Droplet.
If you plan on using WordPress, we recommend choosing the medium Droplet size.
After you’ve chosen your Droplet size and name, you’ll need to provide your Droplet’s location. You can choose any location on the planet, but we recommend using one of our US data centers.
Next, you’ll need to provide your Droplet’s Internet connection information. You’ll need to provide your Droplet’s IP address and the port number that your site will use.
Finally, you’ll need to provide your WordPress site’s details. You’ll need to provide your site’s name, the domain that it will be hosted on, and the username and password that you’ll use to access your site.
Once you’ve completed the creation process, your WordPress site will be ready to go! To access your site, simply head to the Droplet’s web console and click on the Site icon. You’ll then be able to login to your site using the username and password that you provided during the creation process.
