Whether you’re a freelancer or a client, at some point you’re going to want to withdraw your money from UpWork. In this article, we’ll show you how to do just that.
As a freelancer, there are two ways to withdraw your money from UpWork: through Payoneer or directly to your bank account. With Payoneer, you can either withdraw your funds immediately (for a small fee) or transfer them to your Payoneer account and then withdraw them later (for no fee). If you choose to withdraw your funds directly to your bank account, the process can take up to 5 business days.
To withdraw your money using Payoneer:
- Log in to your UpWork account and click the “Withdraw” button on the left sidebar.
- Select “Payoneer” as your withdrawal method and enter the amount you’d like to withdraw.
- Click “Withdraw” and follow the instructions on the screen.
To withdraw your money directly to your bank account:
- Select “Bank Transfer” as your withdrawal method and enter the amount you’d like to withdraw.
As a client, there are also two ways to withdraw your money from UpWork: through PayPal or directly to your credit/debit card. With PayPal, you can either withdraw your funds immediately (for a small fee) or transfer them to your PayPal account and then withdraw them later (for no fee).
If you choose to withdraw your funds directly to your credit/debit card, the process can take up to 5 business days. Note that not all cards are supported – only Visa, Mastercard, and American Express are currently accepted.
To withdraw your money using PayPal:
- Select “PayPal” as your withdrawal method and enter the amount you’d like to withdraw.
- Click “Withdraw” and follow the instructions on the screen.
To withdraw money from UpWork is easy whether you are a freelancer or a client. As long as have an account with any of these methods: Payoneer, Bank Transfer, PayPal, and have a Credit / Debit card. All that is needed is to go into Account then select Withdraw after selecting the method needed then enter the amount followed by clicking Withdraw.
