WooCommerce Shipping Zones

What Are WooCommerce Shipping Zones?

WooCommerce shipping zones are areas that you define which products can be shipped to. This is useful for businesses that only ship to certain regions, or for those who have different shipping rates for different areas. By creating shipping zones, you can ensure that your customers are only shown shipping options that are relevant to them, and that they are charged the correct shipping rate.

To create a shipping zone, you first need to enable the Shipping Zones feature. Once this is done, you can begin adding your shipping zones.

each zone can have its own shipping methods, so you can offer different options to customers in different areas. For example, you could offer free shipping to customers in one zone, and flat rate shipping to another.

PRO TIP: When creating shipping zones in WooCommerce, be sure to take into account your different shipping methods and rates. Otherwise, you may end up with inaccurate shipping charges for your customers.

How to Add a Shipping Zone in WooCommerce

Adding a shipping zone in WooCommerce is simple. First, log in to your WordPress dashboard.

From there, hover over WooCommerce in the left sidebar and click on Shipping. On the Shipping page, click on the Add Zone button.

You will then be prompted to enter a zone name and zone region. The zone name is for your own reference and can be anything you like. The zone region is where you will specify which countries are included in this particular zone.

(Tip: If you want to add multiple countries to a single zone, hold down the Ctrl key (PC) or Command key (Mac) while selecting each country. )

After adding your countries, click on the Add Shipping Method button. You will then be able to select from the available shipping methods and configure them as needed.
