How Do I Put Pictures Side by Side in Squarespace?

Last updated on December 25, 2022 @ 2:10 pm

There are a few different ways to put pictures side by side in Squarespace.

One way is to add them to a Gallery Page. To do this, first create a Gallery Page and then add images to it.

Once you’ve added all the images you want, click on the first image and select ‘Image Options.’ In the ‘Layout’ dropdown menu, select ‘Grid.’ You can then adjust the number of columns and rows to create a grid of images.

Another way to put pictures side by side is to use the Stack Layout block. To do this, add a Stack Layout block to your page and then click on the ‘+ Add Item’ button. In the ‘Content’ field, select ‘Image.’ You can then add an image by clicking on the ‘+ Select Image’ button.

Repeat this process for each image you want to add. Once you’ve added all the images you want, click on the first image and select ‘Stack Options.

PRO TIP: Warning:

If you are not familiar with HTML and CSS, we do not recommend trying to edit your Squarespace website code to add pictures side by side in squares. Doing so could break your site’s layout and cause other problems.

You can also put pictures side by side using the Columns block. To do this, add a Columns block to your page and then click on the ‘+ Add Item’ button. Once you’ve added all the images you want, click on the first image and select ‘Column Options.

Finally, you can put pictures side by side using custom CSS code. To do this, add a Code block to your page and paste in your CSS code. For example, if you wanted to put two images side by side that are each 300px wide, you would use the following code:

img {
  float: left;
  width: 300px;
}

Once you've added your CSS code, click on the first image and select 'Image Options.' In the 'Layout' dropdown menu, select 'Inline.' Repeat this process for each image you want to add.

You can use any of these methods to put pictures side by side in Squarespace. Just choose whichever one works best for your needs!
